2025 UGANDA MOUNTAIN GORILLAS & CHIMPANZEES
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Kibale National Park
July 22 - 31, 2025 - 7 SPOTS AVAILABLE
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the south western part of Uganda covering an area of 321 km2 and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The forest lies at an altitude between 1160 m -2607 m above sea level and is famous for being home to over 400 mountain gorillas. We will bring you face to face with the massive giants of Bwindi as you embark on the gorilla trek in the jungles of Bwindi. The experience is like no other, looking in the eye of a gorilla especially the silverback with its suspicious protective look.|
Kibale Forest National Park
We will visit Kibale National Park - the primate capital of the world. Kibale NP is home to 13 primate species with the main attraction being chimpanzees. Kibale National Park contains one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. Forest cover, interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp, dominates the northern and central parts of the park on an elevated plateau. Kibale is famously known for Chimpanzee tracking, which will be our main activity at the park.
It also contains over 375 species of birds. Kibale adjoins Queen Elizabeth National Park to the south to create a 180km-long corridor for wildlife between Ishasha, the remote southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Sebitoli in the north of Kibale National Park. The Kibale-Fort Portal area is one of Uganda’s most rewarding destinations to explore.
